The Special Centenary Edition of Michael Bliss’s The Discovery of Insulin was nominated for a Heritage Toronto award in the Book category. I was honoured to write the new foreword to this edition.
It was a pleasure to attend the gala Heritage Toronto Awards which were held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Carlu (444 Yonge Street). Congratulations to the winner in our category: Indigenous Toronto: Stories That Carry This Place and the winners in the other four juried categories!
